Commercial Manager

POSITIE

The Commercial Manager will build partnerships, both in The Netherlands as well as in the surrounding countries. To be successful, the Commercial Manager is constantly in exchange with EPCs (Large installers), investors in solar and other stakeholders. Furthermore proactively investigating the needs of Rable’s clients and able to translate these into commercial strategy, effective solutions and action plans.

Stakeholders are setting up rooftop projects which typically requires a “Project sales approach” from the commercial team: supporting the stakeholders from project initiation until installation.

The Commercial Manager will:

  • Work on developing Rable’s business by selling their great product portfolio to Rable’s market partners and their stakeholders
  • Manage the revenue growth by selecting the right solar projects for commercial follow up and generate leads through marketing and sales
  • Ensure to win selected projects by monitoring the progress and supporting them with the team
  • Apply a collaboration perspective to support customers in all project stages
  • Develop long term partnership with relevant market players that trust their product and project support
  • Initiate business development and use the broadest network for acquisition of new customer relations
  • Visit prospect countries and locations, predominantly bordering The Netherlands
  • Report to the CEO and be part of the Management Board

PERSOONLIJK PROFIEL

  • 4-8 years professional experience in B2B Sales or Business Development, preferably internationally
  • Fluent in (corporate) English both verbally as in writing. In addition Dutch, German and or French.
  • Result-oriented, independent and take responsibility for your actions
  • BSc or MSc degree in Commerce, business administration or similar
  • Understanding of the fact that team work requires good coordination of information through their CRM system
  • Thrive under pressure, keeping Rable’s customers needs and in mind
  • Travelling is required and so is a driver’s license

How it began
Starting in 2019 Rable designed a new concept to smartly install solar panels on large roofs. A system that hovers over the roof, which allows installation of solar systems on weak roofs. It is Rable’s strategy to open up this blue ocean market with their innovative system, both in The Netherlands as well as abroad.
