COO

The COO is a key member of the senior management team. Together with the other senior management team members, you strive every day to further optimize of current service level and innovation of our products. You are jointly responsible for further outlining our strategy and for continuing in clear assignments for the supplying teams. You are continuously working on organizing the departments as efficiently as possible. As COO you are responsible for the quality and customer satisfaction of all services provided. 

You interact with various stakeholders, inside and outside the organization on a daily basis and weigh short and long-term interests against each other. By communicating openly and honestly, you ensure that everyone is well-informed and that everyone is on the same page. You ensure the right capacity within the departments through timely coordinated recruitment, and you contribute to the financial management.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for all Operations including R&D, Engineering, Software development, Project management, and Operational Services.  Production is outsourced. In addition to driving operational excellence, you will be responsible for the optimization of the existing operations and up-scaling innovations.

• Ideally, you will have a Master’s Degree preferred in Engineering or other relevant subjects, but those educated to MSc level with significant industry experience will also be considered
• You will be a goal-orientated business leader, able to create and implement business strategies
• At least 5 years experience operating as COO or relevant role (in a midsize organization)
• Able to engage at all levels and with various cultures
• Lead your team to achieve maximum performance and dedication
• You are a decisive and committed leader, with excellent communication skills
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
• Commercial insight, persuasiveness, flexibility, and ambition to grow yourself and build a strong operational organization
• Fluent Dutch and English, German would be advantageous
