Director of Consultancy

PRé Sustainability is seeking a strategic and people-oriented leader for the role of Director of Consultancy. In this position, you will lead the Consultancy Cluster (25 professionals with diverse international backgrounds) and join the Leadership Team.

You will be responsible for the cluster's strategic and operational development, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration, and connecting internal expertise with external opportunities. You are an inspiring leader who brings focus, supports teams, and enables growth. You help clients translate their sustainability strategy into concrete actions and results.

You have at least 10 years of relevant experience in consultancy and/or corporate environment, and have successfully led teams and team leads before. You have a strong sense of organisational dynamics and can align teams with strategic goals.

You are comfortable working in an international, multidisciplinary environment and know how to collaborate across teams. Affinity with sustainability is essential; experience with LCA is an advantage, but not a requirement. Your leadership style is empowering, connective, and practical.

Education and Experience

• Demonstrated academic and professional level, preferably in Business or Environmental Sciences or related field)
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong leadership and people management track record
• Experience with strategic planning and operational execution
• Comfortable with guiding both business performance and team development
• Business-savvy mindset with a proactive external orientation
• Experience working across disciplines or clusters
• Affinity with sustainability is essential; experience with LCA is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
• EU citizenship or a valid work permit for the Netherlands
