Experienced Project Developer (Scale-up)

As an experienced Project Developer, you are responsible to market green hydrogen and generating leads for their growing portfolio of green hydrogen (and circular chemistry) production plants. Furthermore, you will lead commercial negotiations for the sale of green hydrogen and other commercial agreements that need to be in place to develop projects so that our customers can become more sustainable. 

You will formalize agreements with customers through commercial negotiations, bringing ideas and advice to impact and value. HyCC is looking for a team player with a proven track record in negotiating long term supply agreements and the ability to be a trustworthy and reliable sparring partner for our business. You will help connect outside developments to their HyCC team to create new opportunities and create value for both their business and our customers. 

Key Responsibilities

• Customer relationship building and commercial negotiations that are part of green hydrogen and circular chemistry projects
• Initiating and driving commercial new business/development projects
• Key interaction and deals with senior executives at corporate level, across key businesses and in the external (political) environment

HyCC is looking for a teamplayer who wants to help this scale up to the next phase. You have a proven track record in developing complex and capital intensive projects. Preferably In renewable energy. Due to your senior professional skills you are able to build a network of important (investment)partners. You have a strong analytical mind and are experienced in setting up project finances. The preferred candidate has a proven track record in bringing such project funds and negotiations to a close.

Education & Experience

• A Master’s degree in business administration/economics or econometrics
• At least 2-3 years’ experience gained in an investment management/investment banking/project finance environment or an advisory firm working with financial services clients
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English
• You are able to demonstrate strong skills in relationship management, providing risk analysis, and financial reporting
