Head of HR Business Partnering

As Head of People Business Partnering, you will be joining the People Team and reporting to the Director People & Workplace. You will be an integral part of the People Leadership Team, providing expert guidance and judgement to complex situations. You are responsible for:

• Delivery of a modern, effective, efficient, and customer-focused People Business Partnering function that is strategically aligned to organizational priorities
• Provide professional advice and leadership to support transformational change programs including organizational redesign and amending work arrangements
• Lead talent management processes within the organization, e.g. performance evaluation & recognition  
• Oversee and support complex labour law - and employee relations cases
• Manage highly complex and sensitive communications in emotive and challenging situations, using influential negotiating and motivational skills to achieve desired outcomes
• Build relationships with various stakeholders from the different departments within Samsung Electronics Benelux and ensure that requests and insights are shared with the relevant People expertise teams
• Work in partnership with the wider People Team to ensure that Samsung Electronics Benelux has sustainable resourcing, recruitment, and retention plans that support immediate operational needs and longer-term strategic objectives
• Leads and coaches the People Business Partnering team, consisting of two People Business Partners and a Trainee  

Skills

• Minimal a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years working experience in Human Resources.
• A strong track record within a fast-paced and dynamic working environment, with a strong emphasis on cooperation across functions. Examples of driving change through influence
• Experience with successfully operating in multicultural environments with an appreciation for getting this done through both formal and informal channels
• Pre is knowledge of Belgian labour law, not necessary
• Excellent verbal and writing skills in Dutch and English
