Advanced Technology Innovations (ATI) was established in 2003, with the goal to provide and develop new consumer products for mass market applications.
Over the years ATI has provided innovative packaging solutions for food and beverage. Examples of the product range are: redesign packaging, closed-capsule solutions, packaging weight reduction and multiple beverage solutions.
One of the successful innovations has been the development of a new bio based capsule for single serve coffee capsules, fully compatible for Nespresso coffee machines. In 2010 ATI started with the distribution of this new technology for closed-capsules systems for coffee.
The technology applied in the ATI system is different from other look-a-likes in the market. The capsule has its own unique patented solutions, such as an oxygen barrier within the capsule to ensure freshness and to avoid excess packaging in individual sachets. The capsule is furthermore designed to offer an improved coffee extraction with the possibility to alternate the coffee flow respective to the type of coffee filled in the capsule.
This bio-based alternative offers an answer to the growing waste problem caused by the 16 billion cups used annually. ATI cups are 100% biodegradable and cause considerably less environmental impact than plastic or aluminum alternatives.

Currently, ATI has leading coffee brands and retailers in Europe as its clients. Furthermore, ATI works closely together with Peeze Coffee. Peeze developed a superior blend of 100% sustainably sourced Arabic coffee that easily matches the taste of existing cups of competitors. ATI can develop a unique coffee blend for its clients, or produces capsules with their own coffee.
The production of cups is located in Waalwijk, and the filling is done in the manufacturing and packaging site of CPC in Arnhem.
