The Area Sales Manager maximizes the sales of the assigned countries, supports daily activities of subsidiaries and distributors according to company guidelines and regulations, in order to achieve the best results. Key responsibilities


Local/Distributor Management

  • Develop relationships and coordinate actions between locals/distributors (traveling 50%) and all departments to execute the internal plan, through strategic (annual) and tactical (quarterly) business planning to achieve results. Focuses on business opportunities arising: new product introductions; end-of-life products as part of the obsolescence cycle; new  installers  openings  and customer loyalty
  • Organize weekly, monthly meetings with locals
  • Supports and visits main Key Accounts, with locals
  • Make sure the right product mix is followed according to the company guidelines
  • Make year action plan in consultation with the Sales Director
  • Attends events of the company or Locals  in order to represent the HQ
  • Establish the target plan and suggest Sales actions to achieve the results


Reports & analyses

  • Creates clear sales/visit reports (weekly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly) of the sales process, status, and forecast for the following period, within the rules and regulations of the company, in order to have full insight into the sales process. Analyze turnover data, collect recent marketing information, follow up aging and control invoices. Compile an ongoing analysis of our in-house share in each product group by account
  • Responsible for the forecast, planning and make sure planning is followed correctly


Internal communication

  • Works and communicates effectively with sales team and other departments: credit & collection, order processing, logistics, legal (contract with the account), extended sales force, marketing department


  • Ensure that the sales budget is spent on focused and agreed items according to the guidelines of the company


Personal profile


  • 3-5 years of (international) experience (commercial);
  • bachelor degree, like business studies, sales etc.;
  • fluent English;
  • Samsung DNA: Flexible / no 9-5 worker / dynamic



  • Good social and communication skills;
  • networking skills (human-focused) / customer orientated thinking;
  • sales driven/ results- orientated;
  • hands-on and can do mentality;
  • positive, active thinker, capable of taking ownership;
  • analytic & administration skills;
  • knowledge of the impact of marketing actions;
  • nice have: knowledge of the product market
