In this position, the Product Manager – Control Systems is responsible for the product marketing strategy covering the Northern European (NEBA) region (Netherlands, Belgium & Luxembourg, United Kingdom & Ireland, and the Nordics). The product portfolio consists of residential and building control systems: remote controls (residential) and intelligent façade management systems (building controls) to operate solar shading.


The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in managing all phases of the product life cycle, from product development to after sales services, based om market knowledge. By doing so, the Product Manager ensures the availability of the product portfolio to meet the market requirements.


For this position we are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and a commercial mindset – being able to successfully translate technical features into USP’s.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Launches new products and defines the optimal product positioning by taking into account the market conditions and the internal relative product positioning
  • Creates and executes business plans and product propositions
  • Acts as the product champion within the organization, including training the trainers, conducting field visits & providing assistance and participates in fairs & events
  • Monitors performance against the business plan and proposes corrective actions where needed
  • Provides accurate forecast information
  • Keeps track of market changes and proposes product development requirements


Personal profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a technical field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within an international matrix organisation
  • Strong experience with a technical A-brand
  • Has a commercial mindset with a strong business orientation
  • Fluent in local language and English. French is considered as an advantage
  • Occasional international travelling
