Director of eStore

Samsung is looking for a Director of eStore. He/she sets out the strategic plans and delegates the operations of the online eStore business. Responsible for online customer experience, category management, performance marketing, and online sales generation. Ensures that all activities for the eStore division align with the company policy. Manages and optimizes eStore teams.

For this position, Samsung is looking for a successful Director with a strong entrepreneurial mindset being able to seize opportunities! Passionate about e-commerce and with a talent to further develop the business. A strategic partner, member of the Benelux Leadership Team, and reporting directly to the CEO Benelux.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

• Responsible for the overall E-commerce strategy
• Sets the vision, manages P&L, and delivers a plan to grow within the year plan of SEBN. Formulates the year plan for the eStore, to give guidance to the sales and marketing activities  
• Constantly develops the commercial proposition of the eStore channel. Ensures the largest possible turnover for the eStore to realize optimal market share, turnover, and profit
• Understands different customer segments within different product groups and campaigns and their behavior. Establishes optimal customer satisfaction to realize targets and customer loyalty where they come back for the next (replacement) purchase

Stakeholder management

• Realizes targets and a good relationship with internal and external stakeholders. Ensures communication with all involved departments to ensure consistent communication, quality & eStore sales growth

Coaching team

• Organizes, manages, develops, and supports the team in line with the HR guidelines to be equipped for current and future business challenges and to optimize the business results of SEBN. Leads team by coaching and developing subordinates to senior positions

Business administration

• Develops, organizes, and improves the eStore division and the processes, following the ever-changing market demands and situations to achieve optimal results. Creates reports to inform and advise internal & external stakeholders about the status, target of online sales, and the vision of the team. Organizes a smooth operation and efficiency within the given processes, guidelines, and systems

Budget

• Responsible for managing the eStore budget by distributing it to involved teams

• University degree or higher vocational education
• Minimum of 15 years working experience in a digital director or eCommerce role
• High level of digital knowledge/expertise gained in comparable roles in the past (consumer durables and/or retail)
• Fluent in Dutch and English
