Global Planning & Inventory Manager

The mission of the new Global Planning & Inventory Manager is to build, shape, drive and lead an integral, E2E central Supply Chain Planning function within Leviat - including the demand planning, supply planning and inventory planning. You will work actively with regional supply chain teams and stakeholders to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the planning process in Leviat to improve the end-to-end lead time and customer service level. 

Initially, the Global Planning & Inventory Manager is a solitary role. You are the spider in the web, who drives this planning function and eventually will build a team. You will act as the gatekeeper to ensure supply chain planning processes are well-defined and implemented. In the next years, a solid S&OP process with the participation of all relevant functions will be set up under your governance and leadership. The role reports to the Global Supply Chain Director.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or equivalent focus
• Minimum 8 years of supply chain planning experience gained through broad and deep expertise in the field and under a matrix structure organization
• In-depth experience running sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes
• Strong track record in project/program management of global, complex, and cross-functional projects
• Comprehensive understanding of ERP system (preferably SAP S/4 Hana) process and key system functions related to demand planning, master scheduling, and inventory management

Location

• European headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This role will involve international travel (between 20% to 30%).
