Sourcing & Supply Chain (S&SC) represents ASML’s Sourcing, Logistics, and Quality interface to its external supply base and is responsible for materials availability for ASML’s factories. In today’s complex multi-tier supply chains, this is only possible by creating full transparency in the chains and flexibility at suppliers. S&SC manages its Complex Supply Chains (CSCs) up to seven tiers deep, addressing potential bottlenecks and supply risks before they impact our customers.
It must handle the increased complexity of ASML’s systems while reducing the cost of ownership for customers. To do this, S&SC works with suppliers to continuously reduce cycle time for components, modules, and assemblies, increasing supply chain flexibility and customer value. S&SC also monitors the suppliers’ quality, flexibility, cycle time reductions, move rate compliance, and on-time delivery reliability, driving supplier development in all areas to ensure ASML’s supply keeps pace with technological developments and can adapt to changing market conditions.
Job Mission
The Head of Supplier Quality & Logistics group category Electronics leads the department with 3 (senior) team managers reporting to him/her. He/ She is responsible for on time and in full delivery (Logistics) and against expected performance and specification (Quality) of the Electronic products supplied by the Electronics suppliers of ASML. Key is to secure ASML’s steep growth ambitions in the mid-long term (2023 – 2025) and prepare the supplier landscape for the longer term, in close cooperation with the accountable Senior Director Sourcing for the group category Electronics.
The scope of responsibilities includes a contribution to the selection of Electronics suppliers in line with ASML’s long-term needs, managing the suppliers to required competitive performance, and to de-risk the external supply chain for our customers with respect to material deliveries, quality, and MR capabilities for today’s production and future production plans.

Successful supplier management requires visiting ASML suppliers’ as such you can be expected to spend 10-20% of your time at suppliers’ locations.
