Senior Group Business Controller

The Senior Business Controller has one direct report and reports to the Financial Director. He/she is responsible for translating strategy into plans and targets, analysing business results, managing reporting and dashboarding, long term planning, budgeting, forecasting, and control over the business performance (including strategic projects) while identifying risks and opportunities and acting as a business partner and first-line support to senior management. The Senior Business Controller acts as a sparring partner and direct point of contact for the Executive Committee and provides financial analysis and reporting to contribute to adequate decision-making and optimization of the financial results. He/she is responsible for the set-up, implementation and maintenance of transfer pricing system for the group as well as financial models and business analytics tools, like Power BI. The role manages the cross-functional KPI framework working together with senior management in defining the framework and monitoring the developments of the KPIs.

Experience

• Completed education in Finance on academic (university) level, preferably with a post master degree Register Controller - Executive Master of Finance & Control (EMFC) 
• 5 to 8 years experience in a similar role in Business Controlling
• Experience within an international (corporate) blue collar environment
• Experience and knowledge of ERP systems, cost and management accounting
• High-level Excel knowledge and modern BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken
