Sustainability Manager

As Sustainability Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of Roll Group's sustainability strategy. Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, you'll integrate sustainable practices across all aspects of our operations. Reporting directly to the management team, you'll be pivotal in shaping sustainability policies and initiatives. 

Roll Group needs to be CSRD compliant and truly wants to implement sustainability in its one way of working. With your natural leadership skills and extensive knowledge, you win the support of key players in the organization. You know your way in an international organization and have the personality to gather information proactively. 

You will put systems and tools in place to collect data and monitor progress. This position is attractive for a no-nonsense professional, with a down-to-earth view on Sustainability. You can translate abstract and idealistic subjects into practical and concrete goals and actions.

• Higher Vocational Education in Entrepreneurship and Innovation,  Sustainability, (Technical) Business Administration, Finance or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role in sustainability management, preferably in the transportation, shipping, or logistics sector
• Extensive knowledge of international/European sustainability standards, regulations, and best practices especially EU regulations such as CSRD/ESRS
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Willing to travel abroad (25%)
